The 19th Annual OMF Fundraising Golf Tournament presented by MD Financial Management and Scotiabank Healthcare+ was a huge success.

Thanks to our golfers, sponsors and donors we raised $182,000. We at the Ontario Medical Foundation extend our heartfelt and deepest gratitude for your generous support.

We had a great turnout — and the weather could not have been more perfect, making it a fantastic day for our golfers. The event drew 108 golfers to Angus Glen Golf Club to connect with colleagues old and new, enjoy a round of golf and compete in some friendly contests and activities — including a best foursome, most honest foursome, hole-in-one, etc. — and end the day with an eventful luncheon in support of a great cause.

Funds raised will help the OMF advance health equity for Ontarians and help unblock barriers to health care by:

• Enabling better health care outcomes for Black, Indigenous and racialized peoples; 2SLGBTQ+ communities; northern and rural/remote communities; women and seniors
• Ensuring equitable health care by addressing social determinants of health and other systemic barriers to improve health care for all
• Empowering future doctors of Ontario by providing bursaries to reduce the cost of tuition to increase accessibility to medical school, increase diverse representation and contribute to future health human resources
